CREDAI CSR FOUNDATION
The CREDAI CSR Foundation (CCF) has been established as the CSR arm of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations’ of India to engage in the preparation of, development and execution of social and charitable projects, including projects to promote and protect the interest of construction workers and to promote welfare schemes for them such as skill development, health, hygiene, literacy and others; to set up and/or maintain polytechnic colleges and educational institutions including playgrounds, recreation facilities and other institutions of social and cultural value and other social work projects of various kinds included under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes as recognized from time to time.
Since inception, CCF has been proactively promoting Education, Skill Development and Environment related issues. Through CREDAI Educational Scholarship Fund, 191 students of economically weaker section have been awarded scholarship to pursue their dreams in Real Estate Sector.
Construction Skill Development Council
The Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) is a Non-Profit Organization, registered under Section 8 of the Indian Companies Act, 2013.
This Sector Skill Council has been constituted under the mandate of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) which is one of its own kind, Public Private Partnership organization in India to promote skill development.
CSDCI aims to develop, establish, standardize and sustain Industry Competency Frameworks, Skills Levels, Occupational Standards, Build, create and deliver Capacity, Investment and Skilling outcomes which shall meet or exceed customer expectations through ethical, transparent and effective management of the Construction and Infrastructure Industry Skill Development Fund.
CSDCI endeavours to establish, constantly monitor, update and sustain corporate values & ethics for all its participants, employees, industry members and related stakeholders.
National Skill Development Corporation
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.
NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Further, the organisation provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus on 21 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
